SNOWMOBILE RENTAL POLICY

To rent a snowmobile you must be 18 years of age and present a valid driver’s license. DOT certified helmets are mandatory. A deposit of 50% of your total reservation is required at the time of the reservation. If you cancel more than 15 days before the date of rental, your deposit will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee. At less than 15 days, the deposit is forfeited. If conditions are deemed unsafe by our staff at your scheduled time, all deposits will be refunded. The balance is due at the time of rental. A credit card damage deposit hold of $2000 per unit is required.  (Sorry, no checks accepted for damage deposit). If you need to arrive later than 30 minutes after your designated check-in time, you will need to call to make arrangements or forfeit your reservation.  The snowmobile rental policy and prices are subject to change without notice.  7.375% MN Sales Tax added to all rates.

Do you rent DOT certified helmets?

Why YES we do! For $25 per helmet, you can feel secure knowing you will be protected from the elements all while obeying the law!

Do you rent snowmobile apparel?

No sorry we do not.

What should I wear when snowmobiling?

Dress in layers. Bring ski-type wear, gloves, goggles (optional). Also, neck gator, scarves and or face mask are nice to have on cold days.  Our handlebars are heated.  Don’t forget to pack your backpack with a camera, sunscreen and bottled water.

Do you offer guided trips?

Absolutely! For a fee, our experienced guide will be your ticket to the wonderful and vast snowmobile trails located up here on the Iron Range. Our guides have an excellent understanding of the area. You’ll be in superior hands and will have a memorable experience. When booking, please let us know as soon as possible if you will be requiring a guide for your trip.  We also offer trail maps for your convenience!

How old do I have to be to rent a snowmobile?

Renters must have a valid driver’s license with their picture on it and be at least 18 years old.
