Standard Equipment

All houseboats have full usable sun decks and most have freeboard catwalks. Also furnished are dishes, cooking utensils, deck chairs, pillows and pillowcases, flotation devices, fire extinguishers and detailed maps of the lake.

All include gas refrigeration, stove, oven, hot and cold running water, heater, lights, and approved monomatic chemical toilets with holding tank.

Boats are powered by electric start Mercury outboard motors with easy-to-operate controls. All motors are replaced yearly with current year model. (All houseboats are equipped with a marine band radio.)

Gasoline for operation is NOT included in the rates. All tanks are full on departure and are refilled upon your return. (You pay only for the fuel used.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS

A deposit is required at the time of reservation. Full payment of the houseboat rental must be made prior to trip departure. Deposits are refunded at the end of houseboat trip after all equipment has been checked to be in the condition as was when it went out.

Deposits will only be refunded if written request for cancellation is received at least 60 days prior to reservation. However, a 25% processing fee will be charged on all refunds. (No refunds will be made on the 42' Cruiser, 55' Cruiser, 60' Cruiser and 60' Executive.)

REQUIREMENT

 A fishing boat and motor are required with each houseboat.   You must bring your own or rent them from us.  Personal watercraft may not be substituted. for boat and motor.  THREE NIGHT MINIMUM for houseboat rentals.

DEPARTURE

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 9:00 a.m.

No early check-ins unless earlier arranged. To ensure incoming guests their boat will be ready, we charge 1/2 day rate for late check-outs.

TAXES

Minnesota state sales tax and a lodging tax will be added.

The balance must be paid in full prior to trip departure.

PROVISIONS AT BASE

Bait, pop, tackle, licenses, ice, and T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and caps are among the items available at base.

Meals included in the 7-day package plan are:

Supper for 7 days, lunch for 6 days, breakfast for 7 days.

Not included:

Paper products, soaps, snacks, beer and pop. Food Package Plans vary with group size.
